Tamsin is a multi-disciplinary artist whose work encompasses acting, visual arts, art education, production, and writing. Inspired by the versatility of artists like Jean Cocteau, Tamsin embraces the exploration of diverse art forms as a way to enrich her creative expression. Her poetry has been published, and her natural empathy and sense of humour have made her a sought-after facilitator. She has enjoyed hosting and creating  workshops at various schools through grants and invitations.
Storytelling is the unifying thread in her diverse artistic practices. Academically, Tamsin holds a Bachelor of Fine Arts with distinction in Painting and Drawing from Concordia University and a Bachelor of Arts from the University of Cape Town, where she majored in Art History and graduated in the top 25th percentile. Her dedication to the arts is further demonstrated by her experience running art studios for children in the Mile-End and TMR neighborhoods of Montreal.
Tamsin’s artistic perspective is shaped by her extensive travels, including solo backpacking at 18 through the Middle East and Europe, later trekking Annapurna in Nepal, and visiting every continent except Antarctica. These experiences have cultivated her unique perspective and a keen exploratory eye. Her work in theatre and entertainment administration has further enriched her multi-disciplinary approach.
Tamsin thrives on collaboration, having participated in numerous theatrical productions, including one she produced in Vancouver. Recently, her first project as a film producer has garnered over 30 international awards. Balancing collaboration with moments of solitary reflection and creativity, Tamsin seamlessly weaves her passions and experiences into compelling narratives across a variety of mediums.
